Why do we exist?
Embar exists to promote wood packaging recycling, assuring the recover and valuation of wood packaging waste within Sociedade Ponto Verde system, representing and defending the interests of wood packaging producers, recover companies, and/or recyclers.

Who are EMBAR members?
Our members are packaging producers and managers, waste recovery companies and wood packaging recyclers. Embar, therefore, represents the wood packaging industry.

Which organizations are we related to?
Embar is integrated in Interfileiras, which role is to establish, within SIGRE – Sistema Integrado de Gestão de Resíduos de Embalagem - Packaging Waste Integrated System, the connection between the several packaging materials Associations and Sociedade Ponto Verde, by promoting a coordinated, coherent and efficient participation in SIGRE.
Embar is also related with aimmp, an association of the wood industry sector, and together they develop a vast number of conjugated activities.
